Tutorials are sucky.
So tutorials start next week. ): Not really looking forward to them, though my timetable for this semester is already pretty slack, with tutorials on only Monday and Friday and a free day on Wednesday. And the earliest lesson that I have is at 10am. But this means I would end around 6pm, which is fine by me, cuz I prefer to wake up late and end school late.
Life has been pretty busy since school started, what with all the lessons and tutorials and printing of notes. I can't say it has been all fun and games, but I'm pretty glad that I have a few friendly faces around me whom I can joke and have fun with sometimes.
Went for an allergy test thingy on Friday with bimbo! Haha, our sole purpose was to get the $10 co-op voucher :D But it was pretty enlightening, I guess, cuz they would tell you what you are allergic to after doing a short skin-prick test. And Stella the Pro is not allergic to dust mites! I'm one of the minority, I think around 35% of the population, who is not allergic to anything tested. COOLNESS right :D But when I told my mum she just told me that it means I can do more housework since I'm not allergic to dust mites. Rocking.
After lecture, was persuaded to join some of my OG mates to go for the ChESS welcome tea. Was pretty fun, contrary to my expectations. Met another girl in B06! Oh my, that brings the number of girls that I know of in B06 to 8. That's quite a few girls considering that someone told me there wasn't any girls in B01. Hahaha. Anyway, back to the welcome tea. Ok, another incentive for me was the refreshments that they were providing :D I'm an amazing auntie cheapo! LOL. And it turns out that there was another buffet spread just next to our venue. Er, so in typical auntie fashion, we went over to crash the buffet! At least we weren't as obvious as the angmoh who came to crash our buffet, when all the people around him were like much much younger and smaller sized than he was. But that's the beauty of NUS, where no one would stop you from getting free food :D Like the nice people from the other buffet, who turned out to be from the photographic society. Even when he realised we were crashers, he told us to take more food. HAHA. Nice guy (:
And I'm looking forward to FWC next year! Hope that my og mate gets the post of FWC Head then we can join the sub-committees. HEHE. Came out with a few ideas on how to play with the freshies already. yay. :D
Speaking of which, my sister showed me this person who wrote in to the Straits Times Forum complaining that some of the games played in freshmen camps were er, for lack of a better word, too raunchy. Wonder what she would think when she saw our number 1 to 10 video. HAHA. Think she will faint. Anyway, my sister told me that the writer was complaining about camps from her uni, and not mine. So yay.
Ok, enough of my ramblings and nonsense. Gotta mug in true NJ spirit. (:
