First day of school
Hi y'all. I'm here to update on the first day where my mugging life officially starts. And if you are wondering why I'm not asleep at 1am when there is supposedly school tomorrow, its 'cos of my rocking timetable where I only have to be in school at 6. Its 6 PM,in case you are wondering. And I would be in school for a grand total of 2 hours. Yipee, my travelling time is one and a half times my lesson's duration. -.-"
Back to the topic on hand. First lecture was pretty shocking, in the sense that
1. the LT air conditioning wasn't turned on. (Should have been used to it since LT5 in NJ was always cranky. But still...i though uni would be much better, considering that its UNI! :X)
2. no one was listening to the poor professor.
3. the said professor has a really strong accent.
4. the girl beside me was meticulously cleaning the top of her black toshiba laptop with a tissue non-stop for ten minutes.
eh, i know its pretty mean of me to single out the girl, but i cant help it! her hair was like covering half her face as well, so it was pretty freaky, what with her repetitive motions and the hair thingy. :X
another thing, a few students from a certain country really pissed me off a little today. in addition to being rude, they are a really kiasu bunch of people. whoever said that singaporeans are kiasu should get themselves acquainted with the students from this country. honestly, singaporeans can't even begin to compete with them when it comes to rushing for the ideal seats in the LT. come on, is there any need to push past me when the LT is practically empty? not as if you will win the $8M toto prize if you manage to get there first right. -.-"
ok, i realise that this entry's like full of complaints! shall move on to the good stuff then. the math lecturer is a super funny guy! big joker and i really like the way he teaches.
hahaha. the good things about today only constitute such a small part huh. guess i just prefer complaining. (: ok shall strive to pepper my entries with lots of smiley faces and cheery paragraphs next time! till then~
