of yummy food and cannibals
YAY went shopping today with bimbo and yf at central! i'm having a weird pattern this week, going out one day then bumming at home the next, then going out the next day. hehe, i rather like this pattern cuz i can alternate between my 2 favourite activities of bumming and shopping and talking with friends! :D
digressing, i think i'm pretty much of a loner and anti-social person. haha, to say the truth, i don't mind spending time at home and maybe not even stepping out of the house for days. i know some people may find this weird la, but i don't, and i really like relaxing at home with a nice book and just bumming the day away, reading and sleeping and watching tv! :D i know that my parents find this weird though, like all teenagers should love to go out and party all night away, but i guess i'm just weird. i like having some alone time sometimes (:
anyway! back to the topic. met yifang at clarke quay mrt. realised we were on the same train! LOL. the git was like refusing to -teeeeee- her ez link and was still searching for me inside the station when i was already outside -.- hahaha, funny girl la.
and the highlight of the day was eating at waraku! yayness, totally enjoyed my meal which screamed CARBO CARBO CARBO. there was like cold soba noodles, cold buckwheat noodles, and a pork cultlet don. hahaha so altogether i had like 3 portions of carbo? omg. but i couldn't finish the rice. and until now, i still feel kinda full when i had my lunch at about 2 or 3.
didn't have time to take pics of all the nice yummy dishes! it was funny how we all didn't bother talking when the food arrived, cuz we were famished! and thank god the food arrived fast and the service was prompt. add to that a nice view (although it was marred by the blinds we pulled down due to the blazing sun) and yummy food and good company and i would definitely go back again :D guess i'm in a jap food craze now, i love love jap food except for sashimi! hahaha. cant stand the thought of putting something raw into my mouth.
talking of eating raw meat, was reading this blog entry when i just had a nice chicken bao. OMG, i was totally horrified, cuz it was a post about cannibalism. accompanied by photos. i thought i had a pretty high threshold of facing grosteque and disgusting things until i started reading this(accompanied by the photos) and felt the saliva welling up in my mouth and really felt like vomitting. needless to say, i didnt finish the entry. but if you want the link, maybe to feel better after pigging out, feel free to ask me. :X
ok, off to bathe before watching america's next top model! love that show to bits. :D
